Okay, so it's been established that the our American FoH'ers enjoyed yesterday's Superbowl with family, friends and plenty to eat and drink whilst in Australia some of us, like myself, had to work. I was following the game on my phone on a work break when I received the following text:

"Congratulations Patriots, Butler won the game for them."

The thing is...the text came from my wife. So, I immediately reply:

"Darling...has someone hijacked your phone?"

It turns out she was at home on a break herself when she caught the game at precisely the right time. She doesn't even know anything about NFL. Seriously, you have to laugh!

Isnt it funny how wife's become football analyst in a day.

I had to work on Monday and as a die hard Pats fan i vowed to never work again on Super Bowl Monday. I did manage to avoid the score all day and had a great night with a few mate as we watched the replay.

Great day to be a Pats fan.

It was a great day to be a Pats fan. I'm now waiting for my wife to cajole me into getting Diplomaticos No.2's instead of Montecristo No.2's. Now that will be the day!

At least it wasn't one of those games you had some serious interest in, DVR'd it, only to have said text arrive.

You Aussies just need to move the international Dateline . . . then you can watch the Super Bowl properly: on a Sunday!

Yep... had to work, couldn't get live streaming here so had a work meeting at TGI Fridays who ironically had the game showing! ;)

In the interest of marital accord, "Downton Abbey" prevailed. If you missed the final score, Earl of Grantham 1 - Simon Bricker 0.
