This may be old news to some, but I learnt today that Laphroaig 18 will be discontinued by the end of 2016 by Beam Suntory.

Laphroaig 15 is absolutely magical. It is their shining dram. The 3 extra years don't sit well with her and I've revisited the 18 countless times. The 15 is rounder, sweeter, more balanced, and has the perfect balance smoke, oak, and rich amber honey. They had a fire at their warehouse and for many years there was no 15 for sale but now it's made a reappearance. Haven't tried any of these fillings as I had stocked up in the past. The 15 is prince Charles's favorite dram for good reason and on my top 5 list indefinitely
