Ryan Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Interesting article I came across today. There was a scandal here in the 1980s/90s regarding shady practices in the beef export lobby and industry. I see similarities in this article. http://munchies.vice.com/articles/red-gold 1
wabashcr Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Great read, terrible meat puns notwithstanding. No surprise private American corporations have managed to find a way to profit from Cuba, despite the embargo. Sad that it doesn't sound like it's doing much to improve life in Cuba. Thanks for posting.
shlomo Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Anybody ever see a Cuban cow? You can play the xylophone on their ribs.... 1
CUBANO Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Anybody ever see a Cuban cow? You can play the xylophone on their ribs.... That's funny, but so true
TiminBC Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Sadly beef is forbidden to most Cubans or so I was told. What they have is reserved for tourists. Never had the urge to try since a lobster dinner was $10 back in 2011 in a casa. Of course this was not allowed. The real question is what is in our beef in north america.
