TonyAccardo Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 What an absolutely great place and a wonderful presentation and representation of what Old Chicago was and still is today. Everytime I go into this place, I half expect to see Jackie "The Lackey" Cerone and The Big Tuna sitting in a couple a chairs discussing things and that great old world smell of nothing but Clear Havanas being burnt and filling the air, a time before there was any such thing as a non cuban tobacco cigar, although can't forget about those old Pennsylvania and Connecticut comprised stogies either. It was nice seeing these pictures as I love the history that surrounds Chicago and the tobacco industry and how it was so intertwined in the lives of the 20th century Chicagoen! 1
kennykong Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 It's got some charm in there doesn't it? If memory serves me correctly, i believe they're the oldest tobaconnist in the US.
forgop Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I'll be in Chicago in mid-March and was considering this place. Only problem is it closes at 10pm I think and the comedian we're seeing starts at 7:30pm. Not sure there will be any cigar friendly places to go downtown afterwards.
