Ever since then I have been intent on building and playing a cbg. Finally got a bit of time to 'git er done'. These are surprisingly easy to play if you have even the slightest of guitar background like I have.

The prototype (I learn by doing) is ugly as sin but rippin' fun to play.

The upscale version for my son's Christmas present. A box of Ashton coronas sandwiched in between halves of an Ashton panatela box. Fun build. Next up, a Parti 898 box with the neck done in a dark stain.
