sw15825 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Very nice finds. Given those discussed above I imagine many others may be quite vintage. My thought on cigars is that every day is special, some more so than others. Don't hold off on enjoying your special cigars as you may expire before they do! X2 Very nice stash of some rare, vintage and crusty Cubans! There is more there than I will ever smoke like that in my lifetime. Enjoy them with friends and family and let us know a little of your experiences. Cheers!
Habana Mike Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 After looking a bit further and regarding some of the banded smokes, most of the Montes (Especiales to the right) and the Cohiba (Esplendido) are all at least 10 years old given the light matte bands on the Montes and the 2 square Cohiba band. The Partagas is a Lusitania I'd wager to guess. Unbanded pigtail Laguito #1s probably Trinidad Fundadores, maybe Cohiba Lanceros. Pigtail in the middle possibly a Cohiba Coronas Especiales (maybe Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de Dauphin or Monte Especial #2). The other Montes mid-right, #1s. Given you father's apparent predilection toward Montecristo I'd say odds on the Piramides are #2s Pure speculation on my part. I'd be happy to test any and give a more definitive guess 1
GodofFire Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Sounds like a plan! It seems like there's a decent amount of MN folk on here Heck I am in. Live in the metro but would be willing to drive anywhere to get the chance to help you burn a few up.. LOL

Haha you are 100% right about his predilection toward Montecristo, it's really all I've ever known him to buy. I put all of his #2s into one humidor when we were doing all this and they completely filled it. I would have guessed around 150 random age and unbanded #2s were in there
