melies Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 So I smoked about 10 of this cigars back in 2010 and I remember them like a strong chocolate bomb, but pretty approachable for one that likes strong cigars, but I would never have expected what I smoked tonight. The pre draw was as I remembered, chocolate but now they had a fig like characteristic on them First third: Wow the power, it is a bomb, more like cacao been or coffee with no sugar in it. This thing is strong! It's like those old Mike Tyson fights, with each punch it knocks me! Second third: No mellowing down with this one! It reminds me of an RA Celestine's finos, the nicotine I'm this thing is waaaaay out of hand, I feel dizzy. Never has one of those young examples that I smoked made fill like this. It's like liking coffee beans. Third: uppercut to the jab! right in to the head... I feel lightheaded and it has been years since a cigar did this to me, last time I remember having this feeling was with a young opus x (Fuente Fuente) back in 2006 or 2007! The espresso beans flavor was constant but it had some elegance to it, but the level of nicotine in these cigar is unbelievable. Final: I think this are very good cigars that have the potential to become great, but as of now, I can't smoke them, and I has a big dinner before smiling this. If numbers mean anything I would give it right now an 88 but with the potential of becoming legendary. Strong bugger! 2

Back in 2010, I used to smoke this for desert mate, and as you mentioned never thought of this as a strong cigar (strong in flavor was what I meant, chocolate and such back then) but now, I kept thinking of the celestiales finos or the La escepcion regional (And i Love La escepcion right now, can't have enough of them) but this one was a real jabber. Maybe it was the cigar, but I'm not touching that box for at least a year or two.

I enjoyed them but figured I could smoke the BBF for a longer period of time for less money. Always got the extreme coffee but luckily never had one with the extreme nicotine
