I need to obtains a Visa for Cuba what is the best way, orginize from Australia? I think I read something about Mexico Airporto, can a old hand shead some light on this, please.

From Australia: Visa fee is currently AUD$110 plus $50 for courier and processing.

Call the Cuban embassy in Australia, doing it directly is usually the cheapest. I was quoted 90 euro and 8 days from a tourist visa agency here. The Cuban embassy charges 22 euro and I was in and out in 30 minutes.

Visa regulations vary country to country. I know Canadians can fill out their visa on the plane. In this country I wouldn't get past check-in at the airport unless I can show a visa.

I know there are a few Australians on the forum who have been to Cuba, they should be able to help. :)

As an American, I just filled out my visa at the airline counter in Mexico. It was around $30 Usd if I remember correctly.

That makes sense i can't see it being any different for any other country's citizen.

I have filled them out at Mexico Airport as well as Canada. I can't remember if it was $25 or $30 Last time. They won't let you on the plane to Cuba without one. Give yourself some extra time at the airport to arrange. Only takes 5 minutes but if there is a line up it could take a while.
