bradbrennan Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Do you have to be female to have read the books???
HarveyBoulevard Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 No. But if you read them you do turn into a female if you were not already.
HarveyBoulevard Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 My wife started reading one of the books out loud and I grew a boob. Now I have to be in the fat bastard competition. 1
bradbrennan Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 you're dead to me So I take it you didn't read it I'm comfortable enough with my masculinity to admit I enjoyed all three for some reason... and I enjoyed Gone Girl!
SoCalSmoker Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Ran all the dailies for Gone Girl. Waiting to see the most recent cut.
polarbear Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I read the first one and found it to be pretty average I wont ruin the story for all the people who are waiting (with baited breath) for the film to come out but I will say that considering the graphic sexual content of the book I am interested to see how they translate that to the screen without incuring a R18+ rating in Australia. If they plan to try and tell the story without the graphic content I feel the film will be pretty dull due to the fact that the only thing that kept the book remotely interesting was the fact that the 2 main characters seemed to be F$%king every 30 pages 1
