have just heard from a friend in the uk that he uses old cigar boxes to repel moths - cupbaords, cars etc.

anyone else heard this? any thoughts from the scientists among you as to why it might work, or not?

Cedar is used in closets and storage chests for this reason - but usually not Spanish cedar used for cigar boxes and humidors. You would normally use aromatic cedar to repel moths.

I concour with Colt. Aromatic cedar has a much higher oil content than spanish cedar. Bad for moths.

the explanation is that our prez is a complete moron with far too much time on his hands and that whomsoever taught him the pasting photos together trick should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. would you give a four year old matches and tinder?

Giving children matches and tinder is nothing compared to the malice of providing adolescents with matches and cigars, as anyone who frequents this website will readily attest.

Frankly, I don't think that El Prez has the technical wherewithal to concoct the above photo montage. I'll wager that he had the assistance of his website guru on this one.

I'd like to know who actually has problems with moths in the

closets/cupboards.

Before he came out of the closet, moths actually ate a woolen shirt and pants right off Ken's body. Fortunately, they didn't find his spiked leather halter as appetizing.
