MIKA27 Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 FURY TRAILER Quick, think of all the great tank scenes in movie history. Not much springing to the dome, is there? That means there’s a legitimate opening to fill for Fury, the upcoming World War II drama starring Brad Pitt. The film’s newly released trailer features Pitt as a sergeant named Wardaddy who’s leading a measly five-man crew of Allies into German territory. A rookie solider (Logan Lerman) behind the wheel of the Sherman tank further intensifies the danger, as the climax looks to be a massively mismatched confrontation between the small band of brothers and a few hundred Nazis. Big explosions, gritty gut checks, and Shia LaBeouf with a mustache—you in? Written and directed by David Ayer (End of Watch), Fury gets its marching orders November 14. 1
Munts Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 When i think of tank scenes. i think of this one, with Sgt. Oddball, who goes into battle with music playing, to calm himself, and firing shells filled with paint, to make pretty pictures. 1

rsanz Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Saw it = AMAZING!!!!! Saw it yesterday. Production value was excellent. Really excellent! Plot was so so. Dialogue was sometimes groanworthy and, for the most part, the characters were completely unlikable and I pretty much couldn't care less if they lived or died. Is the writer/director David Ayer training to be the next Michael Bay? At least is wasn't as ludicrous as his U-571 (writer only). SPOILER DO NOT READ BELOW. One child with a single Panzerfaust can take out a moving Sherman in broad daylight while a whole company of Waffen SS with boxes of Panzerfausts can't do the same to a stationary one in the middle of the night... come on.
