Habana Mike Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Anyone nearby or have suggestions for best places to smoke, eat, drink, etc.? Company welcome! Spending a few days down there 5th-12th July, haven't been before. Cheers!
thecapo Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 I live in the Palm Beach area. My advise is PGA in Jupiter or Palm Beach Gardens. 30-45 min south of you. Very nice cigar bars. NC of course. Bring your own. You smoke on the deck right on the ocean. Great atmosphere.
thecapo Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Angry Moon Cigars Zino Platinum Lounge Palm beach gardens.
ogus Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Tan those legs and keep from the card room at the casino
jangoman88 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 my inlaws live in FT Pierce not far from Vero believe it or not the Carrabas down there is amazing, and im not a fan of chain italian food. Theres a few places on the beach and that werent bad I want to say it was called Mulligans and right across the street from that place was another restaurant, name escapes me, that wasnt too bad. I havent had a chance to check out any of the cigar places while down there. Inlaws have a private beach for their condos so i just smoke down on the beach.
Habana Mike Posted June 26, 2014 Author Posted June 26, 2014 Sounds good guys, appreciate the tips! We've got a house with private beach so will burn a few down there I'm sure
Guyman1966 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 It is fairly quiet during the "busy" season. This time of year it is very, very quiet. Should have no issues finding tables at restaurants (if they are open)
Habana Mike Posted June 26, 2014 Author Posted June 26, 2014 It is fairly quiet during the "busy" season. This time of year it is very, very quiet. Should have no issues finding tables at restaurants (if they are open) Probably because it's very, very hot this time of year?
Laxman Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Yes the heat has arrived and it is soupy down here now. Vero is like 90 minutes north of me so I am not too familiar with the area. If your on the beach it usually is not that bad as there is always some kind of breeze.
Guyman1966 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Probably because it's very, very hot this time of year? Funny, it does not feel hot to me. I've lived here for 20+ years. Spending my prior life in NY. I love everything about the Florida Summer. The rain in the afternoon. The tourists and snowbirds up north. Its paradise.
MPS Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Decent contingent down here. I came back from NYC Tuesday and smoked outside at night. It was still like 90 degrees. Feels like Havana.
saintsmokealot Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I live in Jupiter and can tell you plenty around here if you travel south but I don't know Vero. That week I will be in the Keys bad timing my friend.
