Hey everyone,

Well......still waiting on word from the university in London, as to whether I'll be moving to the UK this summer for my Master's Degree....but in the meantime, I'm goin' back to the Middle East!

One of our ships will be stopping in Kuwait for a few weeks and I'll be the guy on-scene to make sure the engineering work unfolds on time, on budget and on spec. It'll be a decently busy few weeks, but I'm sure while I'm there, I'll have time to get out in Kuwait City and have a look around.

So - who has been there, what is cool or interesting to see? I'm interested in Historical sights and museums, as well as neat architecture. And of course - where can I go to find some good cigars and to enjoy some cigars as well? I've seen there is a LCDH in town, across the street from the Sheraton.......has anyone been, is it any good? Is there treasures to be found?

Is there any Kuwaiti locals on FOH who'd like to meet up for a cigar? My good friend from Bahrain is looking to join me for a couple days of scouting out the cigar scene, but the more the merrier if anyone wants to join us. Some of the best times I've had travelling is meeting new friends and enjoying a fine cigar with 'em.

So where should I go, what should I see?

Thanks in advance for the advice, fellas!

I'll make a confident assumption that the LCDH there won't have any booze to enjoy or for sale, unless it's on "American" diplomatic soil. ;)
