Picked up a special FOH treat held up at the post office due to a spring snow storm, very special actually! Been following FOH for quite some time and finally dug a little deeper to find many nice surprises, love the site so far! Joined about a month ago, thought I'd wait until my special package arrived today to do my introduction. Not that I had any doubts, just thought I'd have a little more to share.

I'm a contractor in SW North Dakota, in the thick of the Bakken Oil boom. Many people a little distance from us never knew ND was part of the United States until a few years ago. Now we see more out of state license plates than local. There's good and bad with that, but since many other states are still struggling with recession many are finding work in ND. They'll come with nothing, in the middle of brutal winter and sleep in their vehicle if they have to. And we need more of them! Kids just out of high school can make a six figure income the first year out if they're willing to put in the hours.

I figured my package rested in the post office (I know they need more rest but couldn't wait), so lit one up! From first light it was pretty special! I'm pretty green on CC's but I have had a few, but nothing like this. Beautiful rich tobacco, sweet leather, I think even honey as Rob was looking for in his recent poll, maybe even crème brulee is more accurate. Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for your help, Diana!

Looking forward to much more with FOH! If anybody is coming to North Dakota for work or otherwise, I'd be happy to help, I've been in this area most of my life.

Another NoDak? Dang! Welcome aboard, man! I work in Fargo, but make it out to Bismarck a couple of times each year. I've got some friends who live in Dickinson and I'm hoping to make it down their way for some pheasant hunting next season. The pheasant population in our area was pretty much 0 last year, so looking forward to actually bagging a few next season.

Cheers,

I thought maybe I saw that you were from North Dakota floating around a little good to see you! I have a few pheasant in my backyard, live in the country a bit, be happy to help :-) I have a daughter going to school in Fargo, we get there frequently be nice to hook up with a few guys over there for a smoke sometime, do you have a group? sure unfortunate JT Cigarro lost the fight on the smoking law

I work in Fargo but live up in GF, so I don't spend a lot of time in Fargo outside of work. I smoke at home, so never have a hard time finding a comfy spot to enjoy a nice cigar. :) There are a few guys from the F-M area who used to get together at JT's, but not sure where they're meeting now. Maybe Marker or one of the other fellahs will chime in.

Pheasant in your backyard. I'm jealous. We get doves in the trees and lots of Canada goose flyovers at well under 30 yards... but living in town makes it a little harder to take advantage of that. Well, if I want to avoid jail time anyhow. LOL The wifey and I have been looking for a more rural property where we might be able to do some hunting in our backyard, too. That would be epic. I'm jealous!

Great intro, welcome to FOH! The BRC is a great robusto and one of my favourites, enjoy. Although I'm from Canada, don't be surprised if I come knocking on your door one day for a pheasant hunt yes.gif

I'd be happy to take you out, if we can't get any on my little 12 acres we can hit my neighbor's 10,000 acres that surround me :)

I live in Bismarck but my parents and siblings live in Dickinson, so I get over there occasionally.

I live near Fargo but get to Dickinson once in a while for work. There is no indoor place we meet. No cigar shops left in Fargo and Moorhead only has one, a techno ****** place.
