AUguy Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I haven't done many reviews so bear with me. I got this cigar in a trade so I don't know the box code. Partagas Mille Fleurs 2008 Petit Corona 5 1/8 x 42 Construction: This is not a pretty cigar to look at. Rough around the edges but I found no soft spots or large veins. Burn: Was pretty uneven the whole time I was smoking but only required one touch up with the lighter. Draw: Perfect throughout the whole smoke. Ample amounts of smoke with little effort. Flavor: This stick started out with sweet cream and a pleasant spice. Not very complex but the mix was really enjoyable. Around the second third the spice started fading and leather slowly took its place. The cream stayed the same. Somewhere toward the end of the second third a hint of coffee appeared. The coffee faded in and out every few puffs for a while. Just after I pulled off the band I was hoping to nub this one out but it turned bitter and musty so I called it quits. Overall: This was not a pretty or complex cigar by any means. That being said the simple flavors it had complemented each other well. Not sure how these would be at a younger age but at 6 years old I enjoyed it.
MontrealRon Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 A regular in my rotation, I enjoy these young, and even more aged. Thanks for the great review!
subport Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I have a box (sab oct 12) only smoked 3 out of it. 2 of them were way to tight, almost plugs. Sitting in my coledor at around 66-67rh. I took out another 2, they are in the desktop atm but not in the mood to touch them. Tastewise were okay though. Shorts are way better in my opinion.
