Colt45 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I had a bottle of Cascina Roera Ciapin (arneis, cortese, chardonnay) with dinner - sushi and sashimi. I've been drinking this wine for a few months and really enjoy it. After dinner, a bottle of Podere il Saliceto Malbolle (malbo gentile - spumante rosé). A new wine for me - unique - which I enjoyed immensely. I hope everyone enjoyed whatever they drank
canadianbeaver Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 We went to a beautiful dinner party and were served the new Macallan Sienna. Matthew is skeptical of this set of single malts because they could be really could be made of any mix of aged scotches. Put the damn years on the bottles at that price ($160) says he! It was absolutely wonderful.
paulF Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Beer, and lots of shots and cocktails! Not my thing anymore to be honest but the crowd was adamant on getting shitfaced... Was a brilliant night but would have preferred a few glasses of a good spirit or a wine over all the shots and cocktails
