I really don't understand the hate for NC, IMHO it's sorta petty. We're all (cigar) smokers no matter what our preferred origin is. With all the silly non smoking laws around the world I figured we should from a solid front against that and get rid of the silly in fighting.

I agree totally! Hell I only smoked 3 or 4 NC Cigars in all of 2013 . Many members here also smoke some NCs. Others do not. My thoughts are, If the post doesn't interest you, Don't open it and read it. Jmtc.

Fair enough, but for me, it depends on how we view FOH. If we look at it as a simple bulletin board, a "craigslist" type of place where we just post "stuff", then yes, why look at things you're not interested in (if I'm looking for a Les Paul, I won't check Stratocaster posts).

But, if we view FOH as a place where members have conversations / discussions, as if we are siiting together, then it's less realistic to expect members to not respond to whatever might be thrown out to the "group".

Perhaps a sub-forum for non-Cuban related banter is due, as it seems that many folks here really enjoy them.

This has been considered before but it was decided not necessary/desirable.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Thought this was (friends of habanos) not (nothing but habanos).

Not to be pedantic, but it's actually "The Unofficial Habanos Cuban Cigar Forum".

The members are the "Friends of Habanos".

However there are (generally) no restrictions that can be discussed in "The Waterhole" sub-forum.

The Friends of Habanos are expected to show courtesy and consideration to all points of view.....using neither ridicule or derision.

I smoke a 70/30 cc to nc. But I love the Don Carlos line all of it! The robusto is great but like someone said the lancero is the best. In my top 3 long and skinnies without question. If you can find them buy them buy them all!!!
