polarbear Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 After the passing of a friends father I've been gifted the contents of his humidor Most of it was pretty standard stuff but he had 5 RyJ Churchills with just the gold "Churchill" band on them. This gentleman was not the type of guy to remove bands before smoking his cigars so i know they are not recent productions Anyone have any idea how old these might be? I know the RyJ Churchill had only one gold band on it up until a point and then HSA added the standard red and white RyJ band Thaks guys

finecigar Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 That single gold band was so much classier looking!
dubleuhb Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 That single gold band was so much classier looking! I agree, still have a few of those buried somewhere.
zathan Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 The few I had were also phenomenal. Lucky you!

Colt45 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 That single gold band was so much classier looking! Also in agreement - fashions come and go, but classic never goes out of style
