Wil Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 The Medaille d'Or No.2 and No. 4 are still current. http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/brand.aspx?brand=La_Gloria_Cubana
PartagasIV Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 #4 are definitely current, MUR NOV12 boxes. I vac-sealed two so I can't touch them like the 2002's were able to be aged. My fingers are crossed but won't expect too much, that way happy to be surprised with good news. Curious on Rob's take on LGC--are they trying? Inmensos also still seem to be produced.
El Presidente Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 They are still producing 2's and 4's sporadically as far as I know. We are certainly not seeing them down here however.
BlackIrish Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Some 2s and 4s have shown up in the market over the past 9 months or so. I have 4s with box codes 2011 and 2012. They need a very long rest, IMHO -- far too fresh, with none of the honey that I got from the 00s and 02s.
PuffDaddie Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Just received a box of LGC,inmmensos. box codeMUR ,13. will put them down to rest for at lease six months.
CUBANO Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Just saw a box with 2013 box date. What's the deal? I would buy them, if not too expensive.
Charltonc Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I'm smoking a 2013 lgc m'd'o no. 2 and I have a 2012 immensos on the way. I'm enjoying this cigar, but it doesn't taste like other lgc with age I have had.
