I please need your help.

The last Punch DCs I smoked have been from a DIC 05 Cab of 50.

Nice but quite mild.

Are there also stronger BoxCodes / years?

Best regards,

G.

I'm curious to hear opinions on these, too. Stocking up on a few dc's to have for football season. Recently purchased some Lusi's from the LFTW and have an order of Hoyo DC's in transit. Gonna let 'em rest 'till the first game in late August and then start wearing them out weekend by weekend.

Had only one ever - a 2011, smoked it feb 13. Very light! Was a fine cigar, but found that the light flavours bored me a bit midway, but it picked up a bit in the last third. Had the same experience with a hoyo dc.

RA and SLR seems to fit me the best when it comes to dc's

Got 2 boxes from Mar 09 smoked the 1st box but found them as described above, decided they were not going to be part of my rotation, then couple mths back started on the 2nd box had about 8 so far and every one has been a delight to smoke now back on my to buy list guess they just needed some time !

The Punch DC is one of my favorite DC's. I havent had any past 2010 production though. I do find that time does indeed improve them. But for me that is the case in general. I do smoke some fresh but don't normally prefer them that way.

The DC's tend to be somewhat milder than the smaller ones like the CG's or Dalias in my experience. But that is not to say that they are not worth having if you have the time.

The Punch, VR and RA are the three I like to keep in stock. I am checking out a box of El Morro now and am enjoying them as well so far.

I have a 50 cab from 11 that has been good. I have only had a few sticks to check on on them... the last being a week or so ago. They are mild to medium body with very good flavors. Nothing that jumps out at you... but not many DC's do. The strength builds up towards the last third. I have some 99's that have been good and definitely benefited from the age, but they are not leaps and bounds better than the younger stock.
