The mayor is hoping it will be done for Stampede, which starts in two weeks

Insane amount of water. I never thought Calgary was flood prone. I hope they can recover soon. Stampede is big business for the city, they could use a break.

Yeah it has been a crazy couple of days for sure. Thankfully we were not hit in our area but a lot of friends were evacuated. They are saying power might not be restored to downtown until later in the week.
