TM-US Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I would try some of the really legendary smokes to see what you like in terms of flavor and go from there. Cohiba Robusto or Siglo IV, VI Bolivar Petit Corona, Royal Corona or Belicoso Fino Partagas Short, D4, P2, 898 Montecristo 4, 2 Romeo Wide Churchill Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure #2 That should get you started. It took me two years of trips to Montreal and really smoking a ton of cigars there to get an idea of what I liked.
Edwhatever Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Just smoke anything, just anything man. It's like ordering a plate of sushi. which one should you try first? Your gonna eventually finish the whole plate anyway, so just go for it!!! rawr!
Phillys Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 A easy way to try 10 great smokes would be picking up the June 2013 top ten. I'd say this is a very wise choice.
Lanejsl Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 Thanks all. Based on the feedback the June 2013 seems to be the way to go. Much appreciated!
michaelhealy Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 The first Cuban cigar that blew me away was a Hoyo DC. Big smooth soft cuban with a bit of twang and real Havana flavor, it doesn't over power the novice while it retains it's pedigree. Wow what an intro to Cubans with a Hoyo DC. My favourite cigar
