AlohaStyle
Came across this great short about surfing in Cuba and how some people are trying to help get it going after being outlawed by the government... With my own love of the ocean and my recent visit to Cuba, this video and the life it shows means a lot. Just too bad there were no waves when this guy visited... would've loved to see him teaching kids and to see the smile on their faces.

Natedog
Its amazing how much we take for granted. In 4 days I leave for the summer to Newport beach Cali and I can't begin to imagine a life with out surf. I have been paddling out since I was about 13 yrs old and I have NEVER STOPED SURFING since. Great story. I hope for a day when Cubans have all of the liberties a lot of us take for granted on a daily basis.

I lived on the peninsula in Newport Beach for a few years, on 34th street a block off the beach/boardwalk... loved it!
