CanuckSARTech Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 The first few shots are pretty cool. However, at 1:17, better make sure your volume is turned somewhat down...
Paul3 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Thought they were going pretty damn fast down the road up until about 2:04 when another car blew by them (no pun intended) like they were standing still....not that I could blame them.
CanuckSARTech Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 poor guy looked scared as hell ! Kinda like a "deer in the headlights", like "chum in a shark tank"....like how some gents react when at an establishment like a certain Salon! LOL.
Jefferson Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Cool driving. Uncool passengering. No doubt. I'm sure the driver wanted to elbo that guy in the throat. Tornados are no joke tho, we had funnel cloud sightings in the area yesterday, lost power for about 3 hours. Typical midwest fun for this time of year.
Tarks Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 These chasers weren't as lucky. RIP. http://www.cnn.com/2013/06/02/us/midwest-weather/index.html
Jefferson Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 These chasers weren't as lucky. RIP. http://www.cnn.com/2...ther/index.html Geeze, bad deal. You know the systems that produce tornados are so unpredictable that its a wonder this doesn't happen more often.
Drguano Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 We used to think big cities had this heat sink that radiated a column of warm air that would divert tornadoes around it. A few years ago, one came through about four blocks from my house. Now I don't sleep as well during bad weather.
MIKA27 Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Thanks for posting the full video Keith - I see this on the news, though, around 10 seconds of it, so this brings it all together. The guy is scared out of his mind, but who wouldn't be.
ckearns Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Kinda like a "deer in the headlights", like "chum in a shark tank"....like how some gents react when at an establishment like a certain Salon! LOL. I heard you would have been too if you weren't too busy sweeping the perimeter, checking their fire safety plan and vetting all suspicious looking patrons.
CanuckSARTech Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 I heard you would have been too if you weren't too busy sweeping the perimeter, checking their fire safety plan and vetting all suspicious looking patrons. LOL. Perhaps. But someone had to check for Adam's apples. Plus, I had to ensure I was thoroughly reviewing the site for high-profile target selection, prior to becoming distracted and disoriented by the chemical fog pheromone weaponry laid out by the enemy.
