Ken Gargett Posted May 26, 2013 Author Posted May 26, 2013 i think my views on all politicians are no secret. not fond of any of them. but i thought that whichever side you may or may not support, that wasn't bad. if it offends anyone, well to be honest (and yes rob, as a mod i know i am not supposed to say things like this), i don't think they have yet invented the instrument able to measure how little that would disturb me. but if i had something similar re abbott, happily post that as well. and i am sure that opportunity will present itself.
Ken Gargett Posted May 26, 2013 Author Posted May 26, 2013 I gather you don't support Labour? ps - my last post was a general one, certainly not directed at you specifically, in any way, just in case you thought i was having a go at you. not the intention at all.
Warren Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I gather you don't support Labour? Does anybody these days?
Munts Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I gather you don't support Labour? I am all for the process which results in the birth of a child.....
Fuzz Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Does anybody these days? You're an idiot if you support Labor. You're a moron if you support the Coalition. And you're an imbecile if you support the Greens, Democrats or Independents So take your pick and line up to vote in September!! Either way, we are right royally screwed!!

Good thing I can't vote in Australia since I am just a resident. So following your train of thought, I am neither an idiot, a moron nor an imbecile, unlike... I do pay taxes, though. So depending on who's in power, I guess right now I am technically supporting an idiot government.

Oh, you may not be able to vote... yet, but sooner or later you may decide to go that extra mile and become a citizen. And then you will need to decide which one you want to be!!
sengjc Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Interesting article on Wiki: In several U.S. states, "idiots" do not have the right to vote: - Kentucky Section 145 - Mississippi Article 12, Section 241 - New Mexico Article VII, section 1 - Ohio (Article V, Section 6) The constitution of the state of Arkansas was amended in the general election of 2008 to, among other things, repeal a provision (Article 3, Section 5) which had until its repeal prohibited "idiots or insane persons" from voting. "Idiots" are also barred from voting in British parliamentary elections.
