ten08 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I am 34yrs old, and I've been smoking cigars for 2 years. I had my first authentic taste of Havana a little over a year ago, thanks to a most generous BOTL. It didn't take much to convince me to embark upon this journey. It will be a slow one for me. I don't buy a lot, but that's ok because I don't smoke often either. I have a busy work schedule and a full family life ...and no complaints. When I have the opportunity to enjoy a smoke, I want it to be good-to-great, which I've learned is a bit of a moving target as I continue. So far, I have a handful of boxes I'm burning through (or rather, the cigars within). My remaining NC stash and occasional pipe help to keep my hands off my precious Havanas as they acclimate and accumulate. I have my first order shipping from *****int as we speak -- starting small with a variety of singles (props btw for offering singles at reasonable prices!). As a member of another forum, I see a few familiar handles I was attracted here by the number of obviously experienced members and new perspectives. I am also intrigued and impressed with this concept of the vendor and community going hand-in-hand. Still being so new to things, I'll be doing much more lurking than posting, at least until I catch up on the lingo here. See you around! -Adam
ten08 Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 Hi Adam.....welcome to the FOH forum. Trevor, your website is an indispensable resource. Thanks for all the hard work.
stargazer14 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Welcome! I saw the title and the first thing that poped in my head was the only line I recall from 'Jack Reacher' which I saw last night: "That's George next to Russia, not Florida"
