Smoked a 520 yesterday after almost 10 days... It was perfection. Hell yeah!

The longest I stayed was 4 months without a cigar,It was really a bad feeling.

Et comment fut le premier apres 4 mois? And how was the first cigar you smoked after 4 months?

I too had to take a break for the past 3 weeks due to allergies kicking my buttocks. The end of last week I finally had a QDO Imperiales and WOW. First time I've had one of those - box is from 09. Much better than I had hoped for - floral, subtle, spices, complex (to me). I've taken a break from then until today and now I'm trying a Monte 520 from Rob for the first time. Again, WOW. I don't know if it was the break or the cigars or both. I don't normally smoke every day and have maybe 3 cigars a week.

Great question. You should start a topic with that?

Finally had a cigar after a week off yesterday. Didn't really notice any difference vs smoking one a day.

Approximately 15 years. Stopped smoking cigars, but maintained the humidor.

Re-started about a year ago.... now regular rhythm is about once a week.

Probably more in the warmer weather...

How to approach this question...

I usually smoke 1-2 cigars for 7-10 days and then have breaks that last 4-6 weeks . My wife hates cigars, so my smoking revolves around her travel. In total I probably average 4-6 per month, which helps keep my stock rising and aging. I wish I could smoke more than I do, but I am thankful for what I do get. My longest break lasted three months and I don't recommend it to anyone . . . :) Cheers and glad you enjoyed your 520.
