NastyPirate Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I live in the sub-tropics, on the beach, with great trade winds all the time. A PC is a 40 minute smoke. A DC is 1 hour 15 minutes. If I am indoors in my smoking/wine room, the time will slow another 15 minutes per stick. Like many others, I smoke slowly if I am busy or reading the paper online, but if I am void of activity, or driving, I could knock out a DC in 45 minutes. What forces me to slow down is the start of heat.
Pilgrims Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Depends so much on draw for me as to how fats, I'm quickish, i.e. Robusto (on average) is about 55-60mins, PC 40-60mins, slower if with friends and chatting away...
tmc123 Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Just had a robusto that went for 80 minutes, was superb.
stargazer14 Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Magste, a PC in 20 mins, and that is not rushing? It's amazing how different people can smoke the same cigar. I guess I smoke like I eat, a PC I expect an hour from. A perla is about 45min for me.
Drguano Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I have been enjoying a Punch Dc for over two and a half hours now. I may have to refill my glass of rum for the third time. A good way to while away a Sunday afternoon in the back yard.
ajgagnon Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 My dad smokes differently than I. We can have the same cigar and he puffs shallowly and continuously while I try to wait between but draw longer, more solid puffs. He seems to have problems with canoeing etc while I rarely do. Each to his own. I just had a Cuaba Tradicional (tiny perfecto) and stretches it out over an hour. Hit the spot.
