What Happened To The Singles?

I for one would love for the singles to come back. As a new guy to CCs, it was great for me to order one or two of a bunch of different ones before deciding to blow box money on something. It is also one of the main reasons that I have been a repeat customer. Thanks!!!

There probably should be a minimum order of singles.

I think 10 is a good number.

They do have the $100 minimum order, which would equate to about the same thing since most sticks are in the $8-$12 range.

If its a pain logistically, why do it. I think you are one of the only vendors who even offered singles to begin with. Sure having that option is nice. i'm not you Rob, but I would tend to follow suit with others...Offer cigars in 3-5 packs for those that come in those formats.

i like the samplers that you have availeble, sure you dont choose, but that might be a good thing, YOu might end up smoking a cigar that you would have never thought of buying (say a JL 1 for example) and you end up falling in love with it. So if new members want to try a sample of cigars, allow Rob and his team hand pick a wonderful sampler for you...no way you can lose.

I think this is the problem.

I think the singles were intended as when one buys a box or two they then get 2 or 3 singles added onto the order to try, testing the waters for the next box order. I think the problem is as Rob mentioned, people are just ordering tons of singles at once causing a logistics nightmare for the Czar Crew.

Instead of a "minimum" maybe a 10 singles maximum per box/boxes order would make things easier.

How can you judge a single vs a box. Remember the single might have been made years before a box/half wheel or master cases,

or the reverse of this. Also, singles/boxes/master cases all could have been rolled by different people at different locations

using different tobac. A single may not be the best way to judge smokes, you may need to spring for a box and roll the dice.

I can understand the logistical nightmare of single orders. But the more I read about the sight the more I like the idea of the experts putting together a sampler pack.

Perhaps in the future if the buyer could have input of what singles from what brands that could be a compromise.

Also having singles limited to at least 2 of a kind certainly would help, as everywhere you read you should never judge a cigar by only trying it once is lunacy.
