Question About Punch Bands

On all the punch bands that I've seen there is a "RE" right square in the middle. Any idea what this stands for?

Based on most of the ones I've had over the last 5 years I think it means:

It’s “Proveedores de la Real Casa de España.”

The logo of Punch is actually the logo of the Spanish Royal Family and the 14 Spanish Royal Coats of Arms were simplified to just “R.E.”
