Even tho this was the June mystery smoke, i have started a fresh thread as thought it deserved it but obviuosly those wanting more on it, can revert there. Smoked this without a clue what it was. Found it rolling around the back of the h’dor. What a delight. Again that slight grey green colour, which actually had me a little off it from the appearance. Ah, talk about judging books... had some very attractive and quite elegant notes - creamy nand some orange peel and floral notes. A really smooth and dense, yet nicely balanced smoke. These are something I need to chase for the h’dor. That was the only one and when I did track down what it was, no great surprise. 90.

I've got a couple boxes from 98 that are fantastic and some 02's that don't suck. A great smoke and the 98 #1's are just as good, I got some 01's from Rob that I'll fire up soon.

According to Pres, this is the worst cigar ever. But dont quote me. Last month picked up a 98 box. 1 of my favs... to die for I would say

Not a patch on the Medaille D'or No 1. I always have found them Herbal.

For whatever the reason LGC has not been a line that has agreed with me. I did recently pick up a few LGC #4’s from the ‘King of Fishing Stories’ that have shown some promise.

As my late father used to say, “there is an ass for every seat.”
