brazoseagle Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Only in Texas do we go from crystal clear and 72F on Friday, sleeting Saturday and Sunday, Sunny and 62F on Monday and then last night and today, Thunder, Lightning, 3in. of snow and 25F. Rediculous - I was in shorts and a tee yesterday. . Thundersnow! A first for me.
Mtlpadron Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I know what that's like, two weeks ago we had a reccord snow fall of 45cm in less than 24hours it was also -20c. Now the temp is hovering around 0 degrees, seams mother nature is keeping us on our toes
KJND Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Sorry to hear that BE, it's not common by any means but we see it up north here once every couple years. Mostly in November or March. It's always very heavy snow when it comes from systems like that.
Vcool Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 You Montrealers get spared from the real fun Canadian weather...
oldirtyewok Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 You Montrealers get spared from the real fun Canadian weather... I think you mean Torontonians
Cigar Surgeon Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Sorry friend but I think Calgary takes the prize for wildest temperature swings for North America. That's a semi-regular occurance here.

That's why i don't worry about shoveling the snow. Wait a week and a chinook blows in melting it all. I should by stock in windshield washer fluid company. Sell boat loads of it all winter long.
audio1der Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I'd worry less about shovelling but our house faces East so I'd be the ******* who has all the ice across his portion of sidewalk...
