I have a soft spot for musicals and this little masterpiece is amazing. Hugh Jackman was on the ball bellowing his pipes from the start to the end film as Jean Valjean and Anne Hathaway was to put it lightly Oscar worthy with her portrayer of the mistreated Fantine. Anyone who likes a classic French work of cultural art will love this. Or even if you want to score some browny points with the Mrs could do a lot worse than seeing Russel Crowe playing the villainous Javert. Honestly just watch it and be ready for your body to be swept back with every emotion through this wonderful piece of cinematography Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
