Old Cigar Band Art Jar

I was sent these pictures recently by someone looking for information on the age and origins of this jar, which as you can see from the photos is an art piece decorated with old cigar bands from “La Gloria Rothschild” and “Flor Fina.” The final picture – the Valenta Imported band – is missing the brown varnish that covers everything else and looks as though it might have been added later to patch a gap.

Anyway, I thought I’d post it here as I know some of you guys get a kick out of this stuff. Any info about the brands in question much appreciated.

Huh, very cool actually. I have nothing to add, brand-wise, aside from what you'd be able to look up on Trevor's webpage, or from MRN's book.

But that's just unique looking.
