And, dang, is this stuff smooth as silk. Lots of honey and caramel tones, nice long finish. Goes really well with the '07 Muralla I'm smoking right now.

And it's funny because I didn't look at the proof level before taking the pic. I never would have guessed it was 95.6 proof. It's so smooth it feels more like a standard 80 proof. This might just be my favorite Balvenie now... though the 21 YO Portwood is hard to beat. But for the price (US$85 locally) it's impossible to beat, methinks.
