El Presidente Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I have Artie (picker of the last 3 years winner) coming up with the lads....and hopefully a seafood platter for an afternoon of Horse Racing. Today is Melbourne Cup day. The day the country takes an unoficial public holiday to watch a horse race. Most of my mates are at the track. Women are dressed to the nines, blokes don their best suit. A couple of hundred million in bets are placed by people who wouldn't bet any other time of year. Good luck to all punters this afternoon!
