Cohiba Stevie Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 So ive been reading today that palio are in the final testing stages of the torch lighter they plan on bringing out. Now, palio cutters are probably the single highest rated cutters of all time (although im not a fan) so i would expect that this is something they will have to get right. Anybody have any info on them yet? Any palio partons here that will most definitley get one?
nikesupremedunk Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Haven't used the cutter although I hear great things about them, but what'll be so different about this torch vs other torches? I like my cheap freebee torch I got because it works, has a small window to show how much fluid is left, and a punch cutter on the bottom. Unless Palio has these things too I don't see them being much different than any other torches in the market now.
backslide Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I love my Xikar lighter and cutter. With the lifetime warranty, I have no reason to move elsewhere.
dicko Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I absolutely love my Palio cutter. Have a few lighters (inc xikar) that I like but don't love. Would be interested in giving another lighter a go I guess
almudawi Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 If these are as good as the cutters then I am in! Anybody know what they look like? specs?
Colt45 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 If you google brother of the leaf llc cigar lighter, you'll find links to a video (shot by another forum) which shows the new lighter, polished stainless cutter prototype, and new cigar line. Out of respect for the vid originators, I'd prefer not to post the link here.
Cohiba Stevie Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 Hmmm... Looks ok, and given its years in development i think it will be a good product. It does however look like a rip off of the st dupont maxijet, except it has a top ignition switch which im not a fan of.
ronin Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I have been using my Dupont for six years and no problem. So, though it might be nice, I don't think I would buy one.
LeafLover Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Problem with my Palio. Frankly, who gives an F. If it cuts, great. If it lights, great. The issue is, how does the cigar smoke.
