Mesquite, we meet up at Elite in Addison every month or so.

I'm right outside of Rockwall and we have a group that meets in Rockwall, Garland and Addison allot. I was just at the Elite last week. We do Chamberlains a lot too. Pm me a list of all the Dallas guys in your group please.

Where are all of you Dallas guys been, last year, when I organized several Dallas get togethers, I could barely get anybody to respond. Hell, Rush flew in from Mexico for the one in April (which was epic!)

Hmm, good question, maybe not as active then, or maybe unsure if you guys could hang or not with an old master. sneaky.gif

I want to organize the group for newsletters and events. Pass it on to others you know of that would be interested.

Where are ya'll located at?

Epic......yes. Everybody made it home alive, albeit later than expected or via alternate transportation.

For the record, my wife called me about 2/3rds into that evening and as a result didn't accept my calls for next few days.

The plot thickens!

Yes, I absolutely love Chamberlains and I eat there and smoke there alot, and Richard is a good pal of mine. Yes, I think it's the best place to smoke a cigar and eat a steak if you want at the same time in all of Texas.

However, I contacted another chef buddy of mine who is the executive chef , at a very highly praised and historic Steakhouse. He's been a buddy for a while and I regard him easily belonging on the short list of the Top Chefs in the DFW area. He's done a lot of special dinners side by side with alot of the more well known chefs, including Richard Chamberlain. He's extremely talented, and takes very good care of me when I dine. One of my favorite things to allow him to do is plan courses and a full menu that's off the regular menu. He loves the opportunity to be creative! Sometimes I recommend themes or certain items I want, sometimes he just surprises me with 8-12 off menu courses! So this steakhouse has a private dinning area down in their wine cellar that can be reserved. It's a real cool atmosphere! He informed me today that not only can we have dibs on the room, he will allow us to smoke cigars down there during and after our dine !!!! Plus, he we do whatever kind of on the menu or off the menu courses we want or create. We can have the private room all to ourselves with great food, special service, great wine and cocktail selections and great cigars! In a really cool atmosphere. Plus, it's in walking distance to a ton of other things to do and a hotel.

Just an idea.......

Spitballing : Nov 23, 24. Or Dec 7, 8 work best for me, but I can accommodate Nov 30th or Dec 1st too. Anything before the 23 I might can do but will still be in surgery recovery. If people are wanting to do during the week, let it be known.

You can do it earlier, I just won't be able to enjoy much if that's the case. And then we can plan a San Antonio herf in Janurary if you want.

Let's get some feedback for the "2012 Texas Herf : Part 1 The Dallas Chronicles"

What will work better for those wanting to attend?

The Weekend of Nov. 9th - 11th

The Weekend of Nov 23rd - 25th

Or during the week sometime (which I'm not too keen on)

I will open a poll at the top of the page.

We will do the same for (Part 2: The San Antonio Chronicles)

*****If you haven't already done it, send me an email with your name and handle to [email protected]

Weekend of 9th of November is best for me. Let's pick a city and be done with this, time to plan the debauchery.

I thought we were doing Part 1 in Dallas and Part 2 in San Antonio, Everything is bigger in Texas remember, we have to do our Herfs in two parts North and South.
