ptrthgr8 Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 This morning I had a late breakfast - had a long Thursday night with a good friend from NYC who's not been in town for 7 years. We had a lot of fun with a lot of folks last night, but I definitely paid for it this morning. (Can't seem to party quite like I did when I was 25. Being damned near 40 has its drawbacks. ) Got up around 10am, fried up some bacon and eggs for the wifey and me, and brewed a pot of some outstanding Kona coffee. The coffee was out-freaking-standing. So much flavor! Easily the best coffee I've had in ages. Also smoked a great cigar - a Quai D' Orsay of some sort. It was the first time I've ever had this marca and I was quite pleased. Lisa was nice enough to send it along. Thanks, Lisa! All in all not a bad way to recover from last night's festivities. I thought it was a nice location to snap a pic of all the goodness I was enjoying. Tomorrow morning we'll brew a pot of the Blue Mountain. Looking forward to it! According to Trevor, only 1000 boxes. Brought it home from Paris! Better get glasses... sorry. The ones I have here is from France... Hope you enjoyed it just the same!!!

It was pretty damned good. I think I need to find a box of these! They definitely complimented the coffee rather nicely. Or did the coffee compliment the stogie? I'm still pretty new to the various exclusives... but it was an outstanding smoke regardless. And I really do need to find a box of them. ~ Greg ~
deaconred Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Ohh, coffee and cigars. Too bad I can't smoke where I work, but I think I'm one of the only people with a coffee grinder at my work. That cabinet is awesome, too.
