This past weekend, my wife and I planned to have our two granddaughters up to the house for a fun weekend. When I got home late Friday night, the granddaughters were there, but so were two of their friends. Frankly, I didn't look forward to a weekend at home with four young kids. I made the mistake of asking my wife:

"Why didn't you tell me that there were going to be two more kids here for the weekend?"

She: "You didn't ask".

Me: "You should have told me. Why should I have to ask?"

She: "I always ask when I want to know something. How much trouble would it have been to ask?"

Me: "Frankly, I didn't even think of it. I was only expecting the two girls".

She: "That's what upsets me... you expect me to read your mind when you aren't even thinking".

I thought my wife could put together some serious female logic, but this one is in gold medal contention.

Using her logic, you could round up the boys and head to Vegas for the weekend. After all, she should have asked if she wanted to know you were going to Vegas. ;)

Like the way you think.

Cheers
