Hi all. I purchased a box of MDO No. 2 last month from a legit vendor but for some reason little things about them are bothering me. They taste and look great but there is small bits of weirdness that I don't know if I should be worried about. For one, the band doesn't have a white tab on the end like the picture from Cuban Cigar Website, it has a small strip of white. Besides that it looks perfect. I'll post a picture of it just so you can see. The other thing that bothers me is that the logo on the ribbon that was around the cigars (they are in my humidor now minus the ribbon) doesn't say hand-made in the middle like other boxes of No. 2's I've seen. It says "LGC". I don't know if these are things I should worry about or if stuff like this is prone to change. The box code is OGA DIC 11 by the way. If anyone has any insight on this it would be more than appreciated. If more pictures are needed just let me know. I'll try to post a pic of the cigars.

A: I doubt you could even find a fake MdO 2...not worth it for fraudsters I dont think.

B: That litte white extra part is not always there.

C: Its Cuba, small variations happen.

D: If they taste and smell good, then they are fine. Thats the best test of them all.

99.9999999999999% they are real. Nice find!

Thanks for the fast response. I agree with you, I just worry about stupid things sometimes. I'm going to post a pic of the cigars in the proper forum just for the heck of it.

No issues. They might have changed it over time. I've got multiple boxes of these, and checked a few sample sticks, and they're the exact same bands as yours. From multiple sources, including from Czar's and LCDH in Cuba.

Nothing to worry about, IMO.

For the record you can find almost any Cuban cigar fakes from limited to custom stuff here in Miami.

In fact they found a wharehouse full of fakes, and a day does not go on that someone does not try to sale me fakes. Yes indeed you can find fakes of almost any cigar. What can you do buy your cigar from locations you know have good standing. If it look to good to be real, than it not real.
