chr0nic Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Not sure if anyone on FoH cares about a 900+yr old Time Lord who takes jaunts across space and time in the TARDIS... but just in case. The BBC have just released the trailer for the next season... well, another trailer for the next season I should say as there has been one out for months. Though this one is kinda more awesome. NEW TRAILER Regardless, here is some photo art for the new season. Needless to say I had a little nerdgasm. Anyhoo, enough gushing. Feel free to bury this topic now
Fuzz Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Dude, you are such a big Dr Who fan. You even have, as the 5th Doctor put it, "a rubbish beard" like the Master! Not that there's anything wrong with that, just pointing it out! I just find it a little sad that you can't run away from Daleks any more by going up or down stairs....
assassin Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I watched the first episode way back in 1963 at age 6 I have been a fan ever since--- seen all the episodes of all the series since and look forward to future incarnations of The Doctor
coblos Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Matt Smith has easily been the best doctor since the 2005 revival. Have been watching the repeats on ABC2 of an evening and really looking forward to the new series.

I care! Besides who wouldn't want access to their own TARDIS?! Nothing wrong with getting in touch with the inner nerd! I get ribbed for it when I show that aspect of myself plus being vegetarian the hippy card is pulled out too, a hippy whovian lol! I grew up with Tom Baker Dr #4 & his famous scarf! David Tennant is a recent fave, was disappointed when he regenerated. New series looks awesome if the trailer is anything to go by. If you're in Melbourne the armageddon expo is on in October. I Went last year, it was pretty cool, especially the life size darlek!!

chr0nic Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 Great to see the good Doctor still has fans! Can't wait for the new series- especially the first Dalek ep... apparently it will feature every model since the shows inception, including the special weapons type. A nod to the Who's history. If anyone is ever around the Glenwood area and wants to catch up for a cigar you are also welcome to have a session on the Dr. Who pinball machine in my study- one of the reasons I get hardly any work done when I enter that room! You even have, as the 5th Doctor put it, "a rubbish beard" like the Master! Not that there's anything wrong with that, just pointing it out! Lol *shakes angry fist* how you managed to reach down and pull out the one beard-insult relating to Doctor Who I have no idea... I'll be clean shaven for the next Figurados event now... rubbish beard hahaha...

Fuzz Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 A Dr Who pinball machine?! Dang, dude!! Next you're gonna tell me you have your own sonic screwdriver collection or K-9 Mk I replica...
bolivr Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Another fan here since the 70s. Jon Pertwee I think was the earliest Dr I saw. I was just a little tacker so even the crappy special effects and monsters scared me. Have been enjoying the latest ones too.
benjaminbbush Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Two Quick Comments: 1. Excited beyond expression. Big nerd here. 2. Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) keeps getting hotter with each passing season.
SmokinLightning Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 My older brother is a huge fan, got me hooked when I was a kid. The new ones have been fantastic!
