Timminsrules
I have a friend going to Brazil (not sure what region yet). Does anybody know of any good Brazillian cigars or more importantly if you can buy good quality Cubans at a good price at a reputable place? cigcars
Dona Flor is a pretty good Brazilian cigar. As far as Habano shops, might check the search engines?
gersonmorelli
Dav, what city is your friend going to visit? Both Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro have some decent tobacco shops including a couple of LCDH. However I wouldn't recommend buying cigars here. Prices are extremely high and selection overall is just decent. In SP and Rio there is a place called Esch Cafe which is a restaurant / cigar shop that you can have a smoke after lunch or dinner. They have a decent selection at ok prices (for Brazilian standards), food is good (not great) but it has a nice atmosphere and drinks. Esch Cafe is also has a LCDH store inside. As far as Brazilian cigars go, I can't be of help. Have smoked a few and none of them were worth wasting my time compared to Cubans. Let me know if I can help! Timminsrules
Thanks for the advice gersonmorelli . I will find out and let you know. Does not sound like it's worth my friends time. gersonmorelli
Can't say much about Porto Alegre's cigar scene... But I can say that this is the city with the highest beautiful women to men ratio I've been!
