but Lone Wolf and Cub, what an epic, i read through them all again recently on my little sony e-reader (e-ink is perfect for the black and white and small manga format), a great treat. much better to have the books though, so good luck!

You found them in electronic format? Wow, would love to find that for my iPad. Presently I use ComicX to pull in a few nice HD comics here and there. The price is reasonable from $0.99-$2.99 per and the portability is a plus.

As for LW&C, I still have the original 45-issue run put out by First and it was a classic. That they took the time to mirror-image the pages and place the speech bubbles in the "right" locations was amazing. It still bugs me to see Ogami Itto with a left-handed sword arm.

I don't read a lot of manga, but I'm absolutley addicted to Berserk. The installment remakes of the anime had made me so nostalgic and happy.

Please do. The series is an absolute classic of pathos and humanity. No shallow bushi garbage like so many that aped the samurai legends, it is a bona fide study of the depths a quest like this can bring one to. Worthy of Kurosawa, IMO. And Daigoro. Innocent, yet, I supposed today we'd call it PTSD. Well worth the effort to read.
