Jnaube Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 So I decided to play with my smoker this weekend to make my ribs. Cleaned them of the membrane, applied a dry rub for 12 hours and smoked them for 12 hours with cherry wood at around 185. in my liquid pan, I used a blend of Jim Beam Black and Maple Sirup. After this long process, I applied about 2 litres of my homemade bbq sauce and covered the ribs for about 30 minutes. They tasted like heaven. No boiling them and no finishing them on the grill, they were perfect. I'm canadian but deep down, all my friends tell me I must have live in Texas in a past life. Anyway, the product looked like that and I have to say I'm pretty proud!
Deodato Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 You have inspired me - gonna smoke up a couple of racks this weekend. Hard to wait till Sunday..
