Someone is selling this http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&productId=202185443&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&locStoreNum=159&cm_mmc=SEM%7CTHD%7CGGL%7CD29%7CMOB%7CModelNumbers%7CMajorAppliances%7CRefrigeration&skwcid=TC%7C17303%7Chvz040abh%7C%7CSM%7Ce%7C18863302062

Locally for 1/2 the cost of a new one. I have been looking for a decent sized wine fridge for my collection and was wondering if anyone had any input on their quality or if it's worth it to convert to a wineador.

Its actually less than 1/2 the cost so I will probably take a look at it on Wednesday. I have a fancy schmancy humidor, but I am looking for something that is low maintenance.

does it work though?

i use a 12 bottle wine cooler and it does a great job keeping the temperatures down since my room is 80-90+ in summer. i'd pick it up though, they're great for storing cigars.

I am going to inspect it this week and take a friend who is an electrician so he can see if there is any hidden problems with it. I will know what to look for in terms of seal and such, but he will let me know if its going to be worth it to purchase.

My two Cents - I don't like dual zone units, because you have both zones can't share the beads, you have to have beads for both zones. I just want all of my cigars to mingle in the same air.
