Jason55555 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Was looking for something cheap to smoke on the golf course last week and a long cigar caught my eye it was the Partagas Super Partagas it also caught my eye because of dark and super oily wrapper as you can see in the 2nd picture (my iphone cam doesn't do it justice). This is a good quick smoke if you like Partagas flavors mixed with cream this is the smoke for you, decided to smoke with a nice cold Peroni beer. First Third: Get hit with the spicy earth flavour first, this only last for a few cm’s and quickly dissipated. Wood cedar flavours finish off the first third ...not bad Second Third: Cream cream are more cream the whole second third is all creamy sweet tabaco which was nice after the spicy wood start. Finial Third: Cream continues all thru the end with the spice making a final appearance at the end. Overall this is a good smoke for the value, its a very cheap good 45-50 min smoke, this cigar has no complexity, but it has very nice spice and sweet cream flavors. This is my go to golf course smoke its light – med body so it doesn’t mess up my game and it and sweet, cream, spicy flavour mix is very pleasant mix I like Thanks
mk05 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Where did you pick that one up, or is that from your humidor? Seems like it was a dud.
Jason55555 Posted June 5, 2012 Author Posted June 5, 2012 From a local guy I always go to, he always has great cigars, and one I picked was the darkest oiliest one in the box, i don't think it was a dud from what I read online it delivered what it was supposed to a creamy spicy smoke.
mk05 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Ok well, just FYI, you had a pretty old one, circa 2002-2006. Glad you liked it!
