I really enjoy a nip or two with a cigar - great way to unwind

Drink a variety, from sweet Glenmorangie to the peaty Ardberg - thanks Rod (from our Herf last week) for reminding me how good this is.

Either drink them neat or with a dash of water

The Glenmorangie 18 yr is absolutely fantastic, my first single malt scotch purchase. Can it get any better than this? So far, I like it neat in a brandy snifter. Adding water did not improve anything for me.

Honestly I reckon learn by doing, as with most things... I love scotch neat, from blended 37.5% through to cask strength 60+ I just love it neat, that burn and then a huge kick of flavour just works for me, for others a touch of water to open it up works for them, and for others ice or a good dose of h2o, or ice.

Best is to try it, then try it with a touch of water, then try it with more water, then try it with ice, and see what you personally like.

And trying scotch again and again, well, never been a problem for me!
