It has been over three years since we did the first review of this cigar so we have gone back to revisit it. Has it improved or evolved?

Do you really like them more than Pacificos?

Very different Cigars.

Depending on my mood. PL Belicoso Extra, SLR Pacifico, JL Seleccion Number 4.

Three brilliant cigars at the top of their tree.

Rob, where would you guys place these against some other PL offerings, such as the Robustos RE, or the Encantos, or even against the standard production PLPC??

I know, all different formats, and some different blending. But, cut from the somewhat-same cloth, how does the evolution and the long-term outlook compare between these different PL RE's?

No doubt - he was a ray of sunshine, a beacon of hope.....

Ahh yes...my much loved IDIOT nephew who sold Box No 1 Ramon Allones Estupendo from my locker because it would take an extra day to get another box up and he wanted to fill an order.

Of course Colt...he is now a Mining Engineer earning six figures first year out of university.

....I should be kinder to him cofcig.gif

I think these will outstrip the PL Robusto. There is more Caramel development which is something I adore in PL.

The Encantos will go the same way as these I have no doubt. Just needs the same amount of time.

The PLPC again need that 5 years to start to show that development.

All in all, a great addition to the stable. Unmistakeable PL profile in a figurado format.

Hmmmmm........... :looking:

I wonder who he shipped that order to.....really....

And I then wonder how he then got that job..... :surprised:

I appreciate your use of the disjunctive, and contrast, or at least distinction, between "improved" and "evolved." :)

Still my favourite cigar.

I love these more every time I have one.

Love these reviews. In fact, that's how I discovered FOH. And I agree with the comment about the JL Seleccion 4. That was my first ever CC and still my all time favorite.
