hmoon01 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I have a "cuban" Trinidad which is 5 years old and on the band there is no space between cuba and the tTt above it. Is this a sign of a fake, the rest of the band checks out, or is this just a mistake by the place which makes the band?
hmoon01 Posted April 29, 2012 Author Posted April 29, 2012 Photo? I won't be home until Tuesday night. At which point I will post a photo.
Colt45 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Yes, a photo would be helpful. In the meantime, here's a link to Trevor's great sight which may be of some help: Link to Trinidad Bands Welcome to FOH

rickengman Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Here is a picture from my box of Trinni Robusto Extras BD 08. I don't think they look that diffrent.

I believe the way they print the bands (which the proper term escapes me) has them printing the yellow first, then prints the Gold, and then the Black. Maybe the Black was a 32nd off that day. Can easily happen in the printing...
